Is World Quality Week and Day behind us?
This year, I'd like to leave a note.
In Russia, we always try to think and do things our own way. Conservatism often prevails.
This week (quality week), whether coincidentally or not, many interesting events, conferences, and exhibitions took place in Russia. And the active engineering community gives hope for the preservation of quality, and in some ways, an engineering renaissance.
It's no secret that for many years, reselling products and ideas was profitable in Russia. Now, if we follow China's path, we'll remember how to replicate and create.
The only obstacle is that we don't like to replicate; we don't like being taught. Unlike Japan (once upon a time) and China, which has technically risen on our shoulders and hands over the past 20 years while we've been following our "smart path."
The huge Russian Industrial Forum was held in Ufa. The event included specialized exhibitions such as "Mechanical Engineering," "Metalworking," and "Ufa Innovation Potential."
A number of scientific and practical conferences were held alongside the forum and exhibitions. Bashkortostan and Ufa in general gave us pause for thought. A visit to Ufa University of Science and Technology (UUNIT) added to the positive thoughts.
Quality and results are built on individual people—interested, passionate, and open.
Thanks to Ufa and the UUNIT staff, who showed us that we can seek new paths, develop, and never give up.
Quality is possible. But it all depends on us.

Всемирная неделя, день качества - позади?
В этом году хочется оставить заметку.
В России всегда стараются думать и делать "по-своему". Часто - консерватизм преобладает.
На этой неделе (качества), по совпадению или нет, но прошло много интересных мероприятий, конференций, выставок в России. И активность инженерной мысли дает надежду на сохранение качества, а в чем-то и инженерное возрождение.
Не секрет, что долгие годы в России было выгодно перепродавать продукты и идеи. Сейчас, если мы пойдем путем Китая, мы вспомним как повторять и создавать.
Единственная преграда - мы не любим повторять, не любим, когда нас учат. В отличие от Японии (когда-то) и Китая - который технически поднялся на наших плечах и руках в последние 20 лет, пока мы шли "своим умным путем".
В Уфе прошел огромный форум Russian Industrial Forum. Который включал выставки: Specialized exhibitions "Mechanical engineering", "Metalworking", "Ufa innovation potential".
Да, многие полезные ссылки на качественные ресурсы не работают из России, но все же нужно получать и использовать полезную информацию!
